Compared to my last post about Kickstarter, I only have two projects to share:
One Friday morning a month, people in the creative community gather to hear a speaker share their story. Funding is needed to help create an archive of all the talks from the current 34 locations, which will be easily accessible to interested creative minds.
Beautiful and affordable bags, leather wallets, iPhone sleeves, and camera straps for the modern explorer. Funding is needed to launch the Vinted Goods brand.
Most things that are edible are not pink. But I'm such a desserts person, and I carry a soft spot for pink, that my tummy will just want. Currently, I am craving those macarons and whoopie pies, and I find ombre very attractive. Maybe I was brainwashed by Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette when I was a teenager to adore pink pastries.
For those of you not familiar with Kickstarter, it's a place to financially support creative projects, or a place where you can have your project supported. The catch is, the funding is "all or nothing," meaning that project has to be fully funded in order to receive the money, no less than the desired amount. In return for giving your monetary support, you get sweet deals ranging from a discounted price on their product, to exclusives, like have original works of art, or meeting the director. Here's what I'm currently keeping my eye on (I actually am already backing #3), but it's more fun to discover projects yourself! Supporting the creative community has never been so easy and rewarding, (sometimes I just like watching their proposal videos.)
I love s'mores any time of the year! I also really love new takes on the typical graham cracker, Hershey's chocolate, and melted marshmallow recipe. Today's quick links are my recommendations to elevate this campfire treat.
